Before we get to know one another better, let\u2019s start from the very beginning. The inspiration behind the business name.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lucca is a small town in Italy and it just so happens to be my favourite place in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s one of those places that it is impossibly easy to fall in love with, with intricate lanes leading to gorgeous piazzas that are overflowing with wonder and magic <\/span>in every corner. Lucca has the rare ability to wrap you up in its warmth, endearing everyone who is lucky enough to visit this beautiful part of the world. It <\/span>perfectly fuses slow, honest living with a vibrant and vivacious culture, offering you the adventure that you didn\u2019t even know you needed.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From the very first time I arrived in Lucca I felt at home, and I wanted my business to bring you the chance to feel the same way I do whenever I visit Lucca. I\u2019m Laura, the founder, creative soul and heart behind Lucca Studios. Based in Henley on Thames and working from my home studio, I\u2019m completely and utterly<\/span>
passionate about providing soulful couples with bespoke wedding stationery, bespoke hand-painted signage and thoughtful illustrations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Having trained in musical theatre and jazz, much of my life has been spent working as a professional singer \u2013 Gregory Porter and Ella Fitzgerald can often be<\/span>
found playing while I create bespoke wedding stationery. In fact, have a listen to Everything You Touch Is Gold<\/span> and you\u2019ll have an insight into my office tunes. If <\/span>you haven\u2019t already guessed,\u00a0 <\/span>jazz is a huge part of who I am and it endlessly inspires my work at Lucca Studios.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jazz offers a certain freedom, a creativity and the opportunity to offer the world something so unapologetically authentic. Every piece of jazz music is different,<\/span>
beautiful in its own way, for its own reasons. And this is exactly how I feel about creating wedding stationery for you. Jazz music influences and inspires each and<\/span>
every detail that you\u2019ll find within my stationery and signage, where every hand-illustrated leaf and flower flows alongside the music.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>\n

Lucca Studios was born from a love of words and stories \u2013 and although they were once sung, you can now find them weaved within the depths of details, <\/span>textures and lines of the stationery and signage I create. It\u2019s emotion, captured in the most unique way.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nothing makes me happier than working with people, especially when I get to work with couples who are already at their happiest \u2013 it\u2019s a wonderful <\/span>combination and I often find myself counting my lucky stars to be able to do what I do. <\/span><\/p>\n

Once you\u2019ve had a browse and decided that you like what you see, the first step is to get in touch. Remember colours and other details can be changed to reflect your plans. It\u2019s really important to let us know the stationery and signage you are interested in having for your wedding, your colour palette and any further details. Please let us know if you would like your items delivered or if you would like to collect them. I am based in Henley on Thames .<\/p>\n

When you\u2019ve decided that you\u2019re ready to book and happy with the quote. We\u2019ll send over an invoice for a 50% non-refundable deposit with an easy to use payment link. Please note that we can only secure your booking and date once we have received your deposit.<\/p>\n

Within two weeks of paying your deposit you will receive your mock designs and proofs. You can have up to three rounds of amendments.<\/p>\n

A minimum of six weeks prior to your big day I will need your on the day stationery final design proofs to be confirmed and your guest list, menus etc. If you are enquiring about invitations the timeline will be personal to you and we will discuss this. Please make sure you check everything thoroughly before sending this over as we cannot be held responsible for any mistakes. <\/span><\/p>\n

Two weeks prior to your big day everything will be ready for you. I will also ask that the remaining balance is paid in full before items are delivered or shipped. As previously agreed your stationery will be ready for collection or to be delivered. All items will be sent with signed for delivery and fully insured and will arrive within plenty of time for your wedding day.<\/span><\/p>\n
